Baldur’s Gate 3: Act 2 Top Tips

Have you made it to Act 2 in BG3? If so… check out my list of can’t miss moments!

Talk to Astarion about Raphael before going to Last Light Inn
Astarion will share that he’s hoping to run into the devil to get some help. And while that may seem like a deathwish… it starts a very interesting side quest to learn more about Astarion’s future.

At Last Light Inn…
Talk to Raphael and Mol while they are playing a game
This is for a few reasons… First, you get to help Mol as she tries to win a game of lanceboard. Second, you learn that Mol may be in need of some advice. And third, you can fulfill Astarion’s request to talk to Raphael and learn a bit more about our dear vampiric companion.

Follow up with Mol after the initial conversation
Cue the opportunity to give Mol some much needed advice.

Give Dammon ALL of the infernal iron
Dammon is not only gorgeous… he is also extremely helpful! Hand over your infernal iron for some much needed upgrades for Karlach but also some sweet gear.

Once you’ve saved (or destroyed) Last Light Inn…
Find the Icebite Robe
This is mostly for any wizard players. While the Potent Robe gives sorcerers a nice spell power boost, the Icebite Robe is a very nice alternative for Wizard players. It boosts your HP and deals damage to anyone who hits you. You can find it near the House of Healing in a sarcophagus.

Lick the spider meat
I love the random details in BG3 including the hilarious opportunity to lick spider meat. This lovely opportunity is tucked away in the Gauntlet of Shar. I won’t spoil it… but it gives you a nice surprise.

Help out He-Who-Was
He may seem like a lunatic… but helping him rewards you with some cool gloves that let you summon a raven companion.

Kill the goblins with this line…
When you make it to Moonrise Towers, you’ll have a cutscene giving you the opportunity to kill a couple goblins. I highly recommend you kill them with the line about “not another breath from you.” It leads to a pretty cool cutscene and some intense eyes.

I hope this list adds some interesting and fun moments to your playthrough! Let me know if I missed any of your favorite moments from Act 2!
